Broussard said, “I’m excited to be a part of Ram athletics. I define a successful athletic program by Character, Community, and Championships. Athletics teach so many wonderful things about life; hard work, teamwork, selflessness, doing the right thing and goal setting. Sports have a way of bringing the community together. Athletics are important, not only for the students but for the community and all the school’s stakeholders as we provide a platform for a nation of Ram supporters to unite and be proud of our allegiance to such a wonderful institution. I believe championships come as a bi-product of doing the first two things well. If we commit collectively to valuing the journey more so the destination I believe the end result will produce pride, cohesion, and a reward that will rival any honor a podium can bestow upon us.
The greatest gifts in life are always the experiences themselves it's never the destination. It's my honor to serve this community. I'm looking forward to working beside my fellow colleagues. I'm motivated by the idea of partnering with parents and community groups, but most importantly my greatest impact will always be geared towards providing all our student-athletes a culture of excellence that will champion them and bring to fruition their biggest aspirations both now and in the future."
